Silver Member Username: Arnold_layneMadridSpain Post Number: 122 Registered: Jun-04 | Just a precaution though: There has been some technical problems regarding disc thickness (mentioned for instance in Hi-fi News September issue). If I got it right, specs allow up to 1.5 millimeters. Single side discs are designed 1.2 mm to allow some tolerance in manufacturing, and a safety margin. Dual disc is a little thicker, closer to 1.5 spec, which in practice means increased risk of incidents. Anyway let's hope for the best, it's really what DVD-A needs for prospering. But I'll certainly avoid dubious vendors putting possibly defective goods on sale. Take care AL |
