scotty Unregistered guest | I'am in the process of buying either the paradigm monitor 7 or the monitor 9 for my system. I have listened to both the speakers in the store and they both sound great, but who knows what they would sound like in my living room. Anyway I have heard that the monitor7 is actually a better sounding speaker, but the 9 has better mid-bass. I was just wanting to know what you guys think I should do,the rest of my system is as follows. Yamaha rx-v1300 reciever, paradigm ps-1000 sub, paradigm cc-370 center, paradigm titan surrounds, and paradigm cc-170 rear center. Also I listen to music on this stereo, not just movies. Thank you |

If you don't like the way it sounds at home, you can treat the room to sound better - http://www.geocities.com/jonrisch/a.htm To get really good sound at home, we can treat the room acoustically for very little if we make it our-selves. |

Anonymous | I have nines and if you are happy with your subwoofer you might want to try the 7's and save a few bucks. I like my 9's in surround set up, but when I run straight stereo, I like them less as they are a bit boomy in the bass. In 5 channel stereo, again, not a problem, but by themselves alittle sloppy. |
