I recently purchased monitor audio speakers and I'm looking for a good receiver to use to drive them.
I've narrowed my serach down to a Marantz or a pioneer. Looking at the SR9300 specs, it says that it's 'Software Upgradeable' by attaching it to a computer.
The 49txi doesn't seem to have this feature.
I see this as a huge deal based on the speed with which technology changes.
Any comments on this ? Is this a good enough reason to go for the SR9300 ?
