My Sony DVP-CX860 301-Disc DVD/CD Changer states in the manual that it will not play CD-R, (something I didn't realize until after it was purchased and installed). I have heard that some owners have had success with some media. I understand that both the color of the disc and the brand might be factors in burning a disk that this unit will read. I have burned discs such as Memorex (labelled "CD Audio"), but they are rejected in my car and in the Sony, although they play on all other CD players. I use DAO, and a slow (4x) burn rate. I have tried with and without text. I need specific help from someone with knowledge as to what discs have been made readable by this device.
