timn8ter | There are many different design ideas out there but the basic goal is the same. Accurate or at least enjoyable sound. The rest is up to the listener. Also, just as a point of clarification; bipole speakers use two drivers firing in different directions, dipole speakers are open baffle. Personally, I use tripole speakers for surrounds and am currently building bipole speakers for music. http://www.alegriaaudio.com |
