Assuming you’ve got some synergy between your, say vintage 70’s integrated amp and vintage speakers, are there any caveats when trying to add a digital streamer or cd player for example? As there were no streamers or even cd players for the bulk of the 1970’s, will equipment of that era handle the output levels of modern streamers/cd players? Is it possible to overdrive the inputs on vintage equipment?
