I am using a Sony PS-LX300USB USB turntable with Q Acoustics BT3 speakers.
I was recently advised to get an amplifier.
Am I missing out on better/louder sound from the speakers - and of so, what amplifier should I get?

Your speakers already have a built in 50 watt amplifier.
Who suggested you buy another amp? And, why?
