Several DACS come with or have available BlueTooth adaptors so your computer or other BT device can stream music to the DAC and than to the stereo. Emotiva sells their BT adapter for about 1/2 what Cambridge Audio gets for what looks like the SAME device. Does anyone know if the Emotiva device wll work on the Cambridge Audio DACMagic+? All these devices are USB and all list the same...protocols, like apt-X and other alphabet soup. It sure would be neat if, as I suspect, these adapters are the same....just branded differently.
A Bluetooth adapter, also known as a Bluetooth dongle, is a USB device able to receive and transmit Bluetooth wireless signals. ... If it needs to be added, such as for a home-built computer, you'd need to use a USB Bluetooth adapter (dongle), inserting it in your computer's USB port.
