| Can someone suggest a Wave Editor Program to me that will allow me to make changes in the pitch (speed) of the recording?? Anything that I can download or purchase on-line would be most appreciated. Thank you. I'm running Windows '98. |

If you're using Win 98, you can also download a free version of ProTools from the manufacturers website with limited (but still very good) functionality. You need a fair amount of RAM to run ProTools effectively. ProTools and Audacity are the best WAV editors around. Protools is the industry standard. It's very hard to understand why you can get them for free - but you can. Both programs not only have pitch control but will also allow you to change the speed of a WAV file without changing its pitch. This is a much more useful feature. |
