We've most likely all gained a family member or two, and/or lost one or two. We have to appreciate who and what we have, and never forget who we've lost. I'm not the most articulate guy with formal speaches/toasts, so I'll let someone have at it. Here's to a healthy, safe, prosperous, and fun new year! |

That, in this, a campaign and election year already stretching to eighteen months, all politicians and their operatives - appointed, unappointed and self-appointed alike - play to our better instincts. |

There's 3 sides to every story - your's, mine, and the truth. What's best for everyone is never an extreme left or right, it's usually somewhere in the middle; a place I like to call common sense. That's my New Year's wish. Well, political New Year's wish anyway. |

However, their is less evidence for the existence of 'common sense', Thomas Paine notwithstanding, than exists for speaker wire burn-in. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_Sense_(pamphlet) Hope everyone has a great New Year. Be careful what you resolve...you may have to actually do it! |

Nobody gives a rats behind about Politics here, and everyone is happy. I am with Stu 100 percent, why is there so much importance within the battle of Washington where the people are simply not even thought of. Anyway, heres hoping 2012 brings what you all want in the political war of the US. Or at least 50 percent of u. HA!! |
