After a couple of years out of the A/V hobby, I've made a few purchases of new and used equipment. NAD C541 CD Player NAD 1700 Pre-Amp NAD 2700 THX Power Amp Mirage Omni 60 Book Shelf Speakers (I ran into a great deal - couldn't resist $200/pr @ Tweeters) PSB Image 4t Vampire I/C
So far so good . . . everything works as I hoped and I love the sound. Problem is that I don't have manuals for either the 2700 or 1700. The 1700 in particular has something in the front called 'EPC' or something like that - and they coresponding outputs in the back via RCA jacks(is this for driving sub-woofers?) Any info on this would be appreciated! Also, does the 1700 have the facilities to do bi-amping? Right now I only have the 2700 hooked up to my speakers. Any help on locating a manual and/or help here would be greatly appreciated!
have you tried the nad website most of the time you can download the manuals in a pdf format to be read by acrobat reader "adobe"

EPL is for external processor loop, for example to hook up an external equalizer. You can also connect a line level device (cd-player) to the EPL inputs and when you press the EPL button on the front you will hear the sound from that device.
