Yamaha RXV640 vs Onkyo TX-SR601

Alan New member Username: Zyepod GA USA Post Number: 3 Registered: Jul-04	Posted on Friday, July 23, 2004 - 16:01 GMT I've got both Onkyo 595 (I think) and a Yamaha 650 which I going to up-grade to the 1400. In my opinion the Yamaha sounds and out performs the Onkyo. To me you get more bang for the buck with the Yamaha. One of the first things I noticed was the volume control was much better with the Yamaha, and many more surround fields to play in.
