I was impressed by a Moon amp I heard the other day, and started to look into perhaps replacing my A38 with one. I was told by someone at Simaudio that I should be looking at the i1 as the suitable replacement that would work well with my Totem Arros.
Is this really the case? The i1 is about 1K less than the A38? I would have thought the i3.3. would have been the more accurate comparison, especially since the Arros need a lot of juice.
Does anyone here have experience with both and can help point me to which I should be looking at?
