My parents have an old SONY turntable. It looks nice (at least the materials) And it's not cheap like the new ones I've seen (cheaper models).
It doesn't really turn /work consistently (if at all sometimes) and the needle looks to be either missing (or it's broken) to the point that it just slides off down the record.
It must be early 80s - 70s dated.
Would this be worth fixing? i'm just blowing smoke mostly since they'll just want to keep it broken a nd all....
