Sunday, March 20, 2011 - 01:51 GMT so, I'm completely new to the world of turntables. I just got a Technics SL-bd27 from a friend of mine. I bought a behringer UFO202 audio interface. Basically, there is a very, very low sound coming from the speakers. Like I said, I am completely new to turntables. I do not know all of the components of the turntable or anything, really. Can anyone help me?

Wednesday, March 23, 2011 - 14:06 GMT . Probably a ground noise. You'll need to attach a wire between the turntable and the phono pre amp - which I assume is the Behringer. Read a few of the archived threads in this section for more explanations of ground hum and how to solve them. .

Sunday, March 27, 2011 - 01:45 GMT Thanks! I did all of the above. I finally just exchanged my pre-amp. It turns out that the preamp that I originally got was a dud. All is well now
