I recently came into a NHT SW2 passive subwoofer. I have a new Denon AVR 391 receiver which my speakers are currently hooked up to. Now I know that the NHT SW2 can't hook up directly to the receiver, but I was wondering what specific amp I should get for it. I'm pretty sure I understand the idea of what I need to do, hook the pre out sub rca cable to the amp, which I can then connect to the sub with regular speaker wire, I'm just not sure what type of amp I need for this.
If that sub was offered in an active version, would seek the same type of specs in a bash amp (plate amp( from Madisound or Parts Express. just bolt it on the side (with cover for safety).
