| Today I tried the MA B2 and AE Evo One. The MA B2 had clearly deeper and better bass while it was overall slightly better. The B2 had a little more detail than the B&W 601 S3, it was also clearer and more life-like. I also listened to the Onkyo A-9211 amplifier and Onkyo DV-SP501 DVD/CD player (with burr-brown dac!). Combined with the MA B2 the sound was simply wonderful, very airy, detailed and natural. I'll probably choose this system over the NAD/B&W. Do you have any opinions? |

Anonymous | I have an Onkyo receiver SR600 and the Monitor Audio B2s all around plus the Bronze Centre and velodyne sub. I have listened to the Aegis Evo and it sounded too thin for me. I haven't listened to the B&Ws. I'm very pleased with the sound of the Onkyo/Monitor Audio combination. -C |

| Actually I'm asking both, Onkyo by itself and Onkyo with B2. I could combine NAD with MA B2 but what I've heard about NAD is that it has more power and bass than Onkyo but less detail and air, the later is prefered. I'm glad to hear that at least one person here likes the Onkyo/MA combination. |

| But then NAD C320bee has got extraordinary good reviews. Would it go with the B2? I'm very anxious to buy a new stereo, just can't decide what to pick. |

Not too many people have that amp but the response you got was from someone that has an Onkyo AV receiver. Apples and oranges comparison. Yes, if you want to go the amp route than the NAD C320bee is a great match for the MA B2's. Do you listen to 2 channel stereo alot? That NAD will not support DVD's. |

| Ok. Yes I listen mostly to two channel stereo. One store has Onkyo/MA, the other has NAD/B&W and the last one has HK/KEF. Where to buy?? BTW, I'm planning to use a T532 dvd player if I buy NAD, eventhough T512 can be get i titanium but it has worse sound, I think. NAD has got great reviews, MA has also got great reviews but I can't try these together unless I buy one of them first. B&W has also got great reviews and is a well-known speaker. HK670 has got the EISA best amplifier of the year award but the HK DVD player uses wolfson DAC and not the burr-brown, disadvantage? I'm totally confused, what to choose for best quality stereo music and occasionally a DVD movie. |
