Uses the ESS Sabre DAC, and can accept high res signals via USB, S/PDIF, and optical. A remote is included that sends a signal to the player which it can pass along to your media player on your PC. The 8200CDQ seems to be the same product but with preamp functionality build in. Probably about $1,400. How does it stack up against the Oppo SE? Of course, the Oppo will play discs that this one cannot...so maybe it's more appropriate to ask how this stacks up to similarly priced CD players. |
