Hi I'm realli new to this forum, but seems like there are alot of NAD & Rotel owners here.

I currently have a very old but perfectly functioning Rotel 820B feeding a pair of Tannoy Mercury M1s. The sound of which I love, but maybe a bit more resolution and bass control would be nice. But the upgrade bug has bit and i went looking for a replacement. Auditoned a few amps from marantz, cambridge audio, NAD and Tangent audio. Within my budget I liked the NAD 326bee the best.

Now before i go ahead and buy the amp.... I was wondering, am I going to get a significant improvement over my current rotel amp (esp resolution and bass control), or am i better off setting aside more cash for an upgrade later?

Can you audition it at home? Can you return it if it doesn't work out? I think it will be an upgrade, however, how significant an upgrade will depend on your definition if significant. The C326BEE is a very good budget amp...I'm guessing you would really like it once you listened to it at home.

Any way to hear the Onkyo A-9555?
I think it is also within your budget and has gotten some good press.
