"Proprietary improvements to Oppo BDP-83" ? Uh, no. Now, we all know companies have been doing this for decades, with usually lower level players.....at much lower prices. But $3000 up from the Oppo's retail price, for simply a chassis and shoving the Oppo player in there? Wow!! At least the used Lexicons now are worth a lot less than their Bryston counterparts. I'd be more apt to buy rebadged Oppo in the guise of a CA than a Lexicon. Then again, why not just buy the Oppo? |
