Whos got the better speaker? Everyones got different technology

In need for HT speakers (fronts, center, and surrounds) and I havent a clue what to get. Budget is around $2200 for the speakers and room size is 20 X 22 with 12 foot ceilings. I would like to use seperate amp and preamp like Rotel or Outlaw Audio. Ive looked at Klipsch Reference series, Axiom Audio Epic 80 system, B&W 600 series, Energy Connoisseur series. I want to use for 70% movies and 30% music. Anyone know advantages/disadvantages of any of these speakers. Please Help

Can't go wrong with the Outlaw Axiom combo. The disadvantages are dependent upon your taste and what you like. I have the Outlaw 7100 amp combined with Axiom M50ti and very happy with it. I tried the system with Klipsch reference series but they sounded a little too "ringy"...the high frequencies were a little too loud and lingering for my taste. I also paired it with the Athena ASF-2 and it was a difficult choice so I kept them both... cheers
