Ah, but they probably won't be best in terms of money.
Unless the first poster thinks being penniless except for a cracking receiver is his highest ambition.

One should get the receiver that has the feature set that you will use or want, the remote you are most comfortable using, and the amplification that can easily drive the type of speakers you own.
I am sure the above statement is often tempered by what the buyer can afford and the compromises they may have to make. Only the individual can determine which aspects are more important to him/her.
Some people may want a pure analog pass through without any DAC's in the way. Some may value an intuitive and powerful universal remote highly (I do). I could go on and on......
