To create music with more monkey appeal, Teie composed pieces using specific features in the tamarin calls, manipulating rising or falling pitches and the duration of various sounds. The music was inspired by sounds the tamarins make to convey one of two messages: fear and friendly affiliation.

Yoko Ono and Bjork?

Fear and friendly affiliation. That's a pretty accurate description of Yoko Ono.

Great. Here comes tonight's nightmare.
I awake to scared, teeth baring Simeons affiliating between themselves, and jamming on my hifi to Greatest Hits of the Plastic Ono band.

Wonderful.

Thanks.

No no to Yoko but Bjork, well, I'm a monkey to some of her music.

So Metalica is calming to monkeys...hmmm, interesting.
