Although the Krell duo system that I saw and heard last week had a similar bass cabinet layout, I had to think about the consequences of storing conductive items such as beer cans on the bass unit. I'd love to hear a good single driver application on day but I'm skeptical about a single drivers ability to satisfy my preference for a detailed and crisp top-end. |

The simple little Ling's that I still have are very nice simple speakers that still can surprise me. Tim put a tweeter in these as well, i bet THOSE would wake you up with 3 watts SET. Open baffles is where it's at for frsd. |
