Does anyone know the difference between TX and TXi for the Pioneer Elite A/V receivers?

THi receivers have the firewire output. There are some other small differences say between the 45tx and the 55txi but firewire is major difference. Power supplies are the same. The tx series is hard to find I am finding out. I own the 45tx and would highly recommend either series.
