Platinum Member Username: NuckPost Number: 12678 Registered: Dec-04 | Thats a prety big sealed sub, i can't coorelate the weight to other driver surface materials very well. Which spec is going to direct me to fast response in a sealed sub? |

And it's still how the driver aligns with the enclosure (the system Qts) that determines such a quality. If there is an impedance graph provided, look for one fairly large impedance peak at the system resonance of a sealed system (two peaks for a vented system). If any more than one peak is indicated for a sealed box the system has probably been underdamped. in the end you might have to use your ears and not look for a spec since "speed" is your perception more than a spec in the manufacturer's literature. . |
