New member Username: MikliumiNew Jersey USA Post Number: 1 Registered: Apr-09 | Hello. This is my first post here and I am looking for help in buying a home theater system. I am looking to spend $700 or less, and I was wondering a couple things: - should I consider HTIB setups? - Should I use one brand for reciever, speakers, and sub? - Is their a particular retailer that is helpful? - any purchase suggestions? Two models I had been looking at were the Onkyo 5200 and the onkyo 6100. Please let me know if these are good, and what I should look for. Thank you. |

Otherwise, the look pretty much identical. Would the speaker material and thx thing make a big enough difference to warrant spending $300 more? Thanks again for the help |

New member Username: MikliumiNew Jersey USA Post Number: 8 Registered: Apr-09 | update: Went to 6th avenue electronics, and got a new pair of mini monitors, a new cc-190, and a sub cable for about $650. Once i heard the paradigm in store, i loved em. To my inexperienced ears, they sounded better then klipsch and definitive. Now, I am looking for the sub for hopefully around 350. Thanks again for the help guys |
