OK...I started this in an earlier post:

I was considering the different ways I could arrange my system. I just recently purchased a NAD T762. My classic Paradigm Studio Monitors and twin NAD 2400 THXs power amps were still sitting arounf so.....

The "test" on the T762 was used to provide white noise and volume was set @ 0 dB.

1 - My first try was just using a T762 out of the box - 83.5 dB left / 84.0 dB right

2 - Next I used the T762 pre-amp outs directly into ONE of my 2400s - 84.5 dB left / 84.5 dB right

3 - Now for some real fun I bridged the two 2400s and split the T762s pre-amp outs - one to each bridged 2400 - 91.0 dB left / 92.0 dB right

4 - For the final I figured I would try to use the T762s internal amp to drive my mids and highs, and use each bridged 2400 to drive each speakers bottom end. Above average quality Y-splitters were installed on each of the T762s pre-amp out. One leg of the Y-splitter ran right back into the T762s power-amp input while the other leg of each Y-splitter ran to each of the bridged 2400s. Man...only - 84.5 dB left / 85.0 dB right
