New member Username: KturnerPost Number: 1 Registered: Mar-09 | Hey all, I'm a newbie to all this, but have been inheriting/buying some (I think) decent gear, and am at a crossroads. I'm totally lost when it comes to the phonostage. Right now I have a nuforce IA7 integrated amp, some VMPS 626s, and a clearaudio emotion combo. (It has the Satisfy tonearm and Maestro MM wood cartridge). I need some suggestions when it comes to a phonostage. I'm brand new when it comes to TTs, and am assuming I'm going to need a phonostage for the MM cartridge? I'm also assuming I can just plug it in between the TT and IA7 and be good to go for a while? I'm looking for quality sound, but not much of a tinkerer and really just want to get this up an running. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Kim |

It retails for $500, and can be found on Audiogon for about $300 and some change. Clear Audio also makes a phono stage. I haven't heard it, but it should have an obvious synergy with your stuff, not to mention that it should work perfectly from an electrical perspective. |
