New member Username: AttndefPost Number: 1 Registered: Feb-09 | So here is my set up. Currently I have a NAD C740 (30 watts per channel) receiver running to my B&W 684's. I just purchased a Rotel RB-1050 Power amp (70 watts per channel) on Ebay and got a good deal on it to. I was looking to horizontally bi-amp this set up with the Rotel going to to bottom end and the NAD to the high. I just have a few questions: Am I going to run into problems because the amps are different brands or gain? Could I be better off bridging the two amps or just using the NAD as a pre-amp? |

Bi-amping with two different brands will be problematic. The NAD and Rotel have different sonic signatures (and probably different gain levels). It'll be a mess. |

I was just wondering what to look out for or if anyone had any experience with trying anything like that. |
