It's actually one of there "Recommended" products: http://www.soundandvisionmag.com/speakers/2950/infinity-classia-home-theater-spe aker-system.html |

Silver Member Username: SoundgameRichmond Hill Toronto ..., Ontario Canada Post Number: 316 Registered: Jun-08 | Oh yeah...no Olivia's in that review. Just the gumby head speakers. |
Gold Member Username: ExerciseguyBrooklyn, NY United States Post Number: 2197 Registered: Oct-04 | Gumby headed speakers are actually a good thing, as they prevent careless drunk people from resting their beers atop. |
Silver Member Username: SoundgameRichmond Hill Toronto ..., Ontario Canada Post Number: 317 Registered: Jun-08 | Oh, I agree. I actually think they are unique and interesting looking. And, I'm all for large speakers...at least tall, though my wife is not so fond of such. |
Gold Member Username: ExerciseguyBrooklyn, NY United States Post Number: 2200 Registered: Oct-04 | I do agree with the review in that the Infinity "Cherry" vinyl is much too orange. Black is the way to go. |
Silver Member Username: SoundgameRichmond Hill Toronto ..., Ontario Canada Post Number: 318 Registered: Jun-08 | I thought they were real veneer, not vinyl. I would go the piano laquer myself. The contrast between the cherry and the black grills/sides is too much. |

Gold Member Username: Nickelbut10Post Number: 2106 Registered: Jun-07 | Yeah they are not Veneer? I like how the two think 4500 dollars is pricey even for a high end system. They clearly have no idea what they are reviewing. Idiots.haha. |
Silver Member Username: SoundgameRichmond Hill Toronto ..., Ontario Canada Post Number: 319 Registered: Jun-08 | I'd buy that for a $1! |
Gold Member Username: T_bomb25Dayton, Ohio United States Post Number: 1902 Registered: Jun-05 | They are real veneer. |
Gold Member Username: T_bomb25Dayton, Ohio United States Post Number: 1903 Registered: Jun-05 | You would have to see them in person, everything fits into place, quite attractive to my eyes and everyone thats visited my house. |
Silver Member Username: SoundgameRichmond Hill Toronto ..., Ontario Canada Post Number: 320 Registered: Jun-08 | Hey there Tawaun, it's just personal preference. I like black laquer, my wife doesn't. As yours are real veneer, it would definitely be a harder choice. I agree, photos probably don't do justice to them. I do like them and wish I had the cash like you have to get them along with your Swans...lol. |
Gold Member Username: T_bomb25Dayton, Ohio United States Post Number: 1904 Registered: Jun-05 | Not really George the F5F are black laquer,I like them both,in the Classia's case i think the veneer would look better because of the other different contrasts of black on the speaker, thats why i ordered the veneer. |
Gold Member Username: ExerciseguyBrooklyn, NY United States Post Number: 2201 Registered: Oct-04 | Sorry, the Classias are real wood veneer, my Betas are vinyl, but both still seem too orange for today's taste & decor. Don't get be wrong they're nice, but personally I think that a dark walnut would be a nicer option. Monitor Audio's walnut is really gorgeous, similarly, some of veneers from AV123 are spectacular. |
Gold Member Username: ArtkAlbany, Oregon USA Post Number: 8215 Registered: Feb-05 | I find the Infinity's attractive in the veneer...hmm. |
Gold Member Username: ExerciseguyBrooklyn, NY United States Post Number: 2202 Registered: Oct-04 | So do I, but most who've seen my Betas think they're a bit too orangie. |
Platinum Member Username: NuckPost Number: 11164 Registered: Dec-04 | Ask Art about the orange in my old carpet, I think he may have a future in retro interior design... |
Gold Member Username: ExerciseguyBrooklyn, NY United States Post Number: 2203 Registered: Oct-04 | I like orange. |
Gold Member Username: ArtkAlbany, Oregon USA Post Number: 8217 Registered: Feb-05 | Tell 'em to close their eyes Chris...those look about the same as my Epos ELS 3's. Nuck there weren't no help for that old carpet..lol! |
