I know Energy is a mass manufacturer but I think they do put out some quality, high value stuff. My dad has the Energy Pro22 reference monitors from back in the mid-eightees. When I used to listen to them, I couldn't believe the clarity of those tweeters and the incredible imaging and that was with some absolute crap wire - the kind that goes dark after a year. I wonder if I borrowed them of my Dad and ran them on my system, or something better, how good they could sound. I'll probably inherit them at sometime - my Dad pretty well never uses them. |
