Proublem with Fisher Studio Standard integrated amp

The model number is CA-270 and the proublem is it does not play sound but when I unplugged the audio cord and accidentaly touched one of the plugs to the gnd ground thing and it played sound then do you guys know the proublem or how to fix it?

I don't quite understand, but if you've got a ground problem, get it to repair guy.
House current, if present, is nothing to play with and you get Zapped pretty good.
Unplug it right now.
