My Kenwood CD Player (not portable) is starting to make a popping sound whenever I stop, play or advance to next song. Any idea on what this might be?

Daniel
Did you ever get the problem sorted out - I have exactly the same issues with my MHZS CD-33, which I "Lampized" last night. Just wondering whether it could be a capacitor letting go on each of these actions.
Regards
