Anyone ever use one of these?

If there's even the slightest gap or pucker in the "splash guard", water will find its way in.

Did you mean the Nitty Gritty Record Doctor available at Audio Advisor for $299.99? I googled Disc Doctor but it didn't return any useable links. There's a cleaning solution called Disc Doctor but the company that makes it doesn't offer any vacuum apparatus.
