Alright... first off I'm an uber noob to receivers and home audio and what not. I'm looking for a receiver within 225$ that will put out a good amount of wattage. I'm going to be hooking up a pair of Bose sattelite speakers, Pioneer CS-G205 floor standing speakers, and this subwoofer : http://www.amazon.com/Sony-SA-W3800-Performance-200-Watt-Subwoofer/dp/B000OKZXSU . Suggestions?

Also that subwoofer is 200W RMS and I'm not sure how the receiver power works really, but I want to get the full effect from the subwoofer (the subwoofer also has an amp built on so.... I'm a tad confused)

if you can stretch a little check this out http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8258501&type=product&id=1170289629 617

dont be to worried about the amount of watts it has.

it will give you more than enough power to drive those speakers.

the sub you have is a powered sub, which means it uses its own amp to power it and in return takes the strain off the receiver.

sorry about the link doent seem to be working, here is another place with the same receiver, but at a lot better price, so you wont need to stretch your budget.

H/K tend to rate their power output conservatively. The AVR146 at 40w will be more than enough.
