Quick question from a newbie: Going to be getting a set of Acoustic Research HC6s. I've been reading that the speakers have gold binding posts that apparently don't accept banana plugs.
Looking at Monster speaker wire with gold pins, can those be converted to spade lugs, or does Monster sell speaker wire with spade lugs already attached? Or do the gold pins actually fit such bindings?
Any help with this gladly appreciated.

That system is selling for $300 with free shipping. I'm thinking of returning my Monitor Audio B2's $340/pr and getting the AR's. Is this a mistake?
As far as speaker wire goes, there are places that sell 12 gauge speaker wire for 75+/- cents a foot. Any Best Buy type discount place sells all the different connectors you need. I think when it comes to speaker wire Monster overprices a bit. But as far as component interconnects go they are superb.
