I'm hoping someone might know if what I'm looking for exists. I'm searching for a pair of small powered speakers for use with a portable CD player -- the tricky part being that they must be either battery powered or be able to use a car cigarette lighter adapter.
I have an old pair of (unpowered) die-cast, 2-way speakers from Radio Shack (!) that are about 6" tall and put out surprisingly good sound in a small environment. If these were powered and portable, they'd be perfect!
