Bronze Member Username: Vulture99Post Number: 23 Registered: Feb-04 | I have little sense or experience with separates and a large appetite for power. I currently own a NAD T763 and run it in 2 channel mode with PSB 5Ts. I'll soon be adding a sub, two surrounds, and a center channel. My question is, at what point does it make sense to add power to my system? I mean, the T763 puts out a lot of power on its own, but Saturday Audio has an attractive price on the C270 amp. Would it make sense to add this to the T763, or am I just looney? Thanks. |

T763: "Power Output: Stereo Mode (8 ohms within rated distortion): 2 X 130W" and... "Simultaneous power output surround mode: 6 x 100W". Seems just two of the T763 channels are essentially equal to the C270 even when its other four channels are also delivering at 100 W. |
