So I took off the front cover. And to my amazement the woofer's rubber portion is completely rotted off. I'd really like to replace the speakers rather that to buy completely new speakers. Can someone help me out with that? Possibly recone or new.. Anything help would be greatly appreciated.. joe in New Jersey... and Merry Christmas to everyone! |

Never heard of the speakers that I am aware of, however if the foam has rotted and the cones are still good there are options. http://www.speakerworks.net/kits.html http://www.partsexpress.com/Tech/260-915.html http://www.speakerplace.com/kits.asp http://www.simplyspeakers.com/2doityourself.htm http://www.speakerrepair.com/OCSrekit.html Hopefully these give you a good place to start. |
