New member Username: WdrazekPost Number: 4 Registered: May-04 | I saw a new NAD integrated yesterday on the Audio Advisor site. http://www.audioadvisor.com/products.asp?dept=9 It retails for $800, reportedly uses some M-series technology and is rated at 80wpc. That's a 25% jump in price from the C352 which is now selling online at $100 off list in a number of places. No pictures yet and it isn't on the NAD website either. Two thoughts: for a major jump in price over the old model and no increase in power this needs to be a major step up. And, I doubt a new C375 is too far off... |

They also need to update the c162, and the c542 as well. Perhaps they are waiting until later next year. I know they are working on a 2 channel digital amp (masters series) and have been focusing on getting their a/v amps out. |

New member Username: YasofnosplotzPost Number: 2 Registered: Feb-08 | Not sure, here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem%26item%3D330214016160 I had also been looking at a Rotel and Cambridge Audio that both went for around $600 and had pretty much ruled the NAD out due to the extra cash. |
New member Username: YasofnosplotzPost Number: 3 Registered: Feb-08 | Sorry, it keeps corrupting the link. Go to ebay and put item # 330214016160 and search. |
Silver Member Username: DanmanQUEBEC CANADA Post Number: 709 Registered: Apr-04 | I had a look and it seems legit but to be sure you should contact NAD about this as I am not convinced this is an "overstock" item! Let us know please. |
New member Username: YasofnosplotzPost Number: 4 Registered: Feb-08 | I received the 355 today. Sound is fantastic, at least relative to the Cambridge Audio it is replacing. I have 4 Paradigm Reference SA-25's that it has to drive, the Cambridge didn't quite have enough punch to make them sound like they should. The NAD sounds much richer and fuller than the Cambridge Audio. The amp looks and feels like quality gear. Packaging was a bit cheap, and the remote looks like junk, but has great functionality, including the ability to switch all speaker zones on/off. At any rate, overall I am extremely happy, sound quality is worth every penny. |
