The only option I have been able to find with two component video outs is the Denon 4306 / 4308. I list the older model as well as I have no need for HDMI so the cost savings on the 4306 (selling new for $1200) is appealing - that said I am not opposed to spending $2000+ if I am getting something for the money spent.
Basically just want an AVR which provides two Component Video outputs independly switched (not necessarily different 'zones' but should be able to send signal to one or both so the connected device when not in use will go to sleep (i.e. connected devices detect if a signal is present in order to decide if they should power up or not.
A seperate audio only 'zone' would be nice but not necessary.
Unit should also provide some video processing - upscaling 480i/480p to 720p.
Is the Denon the only game in town? Don't mind waiting if their is another model on the sideline ready to release which would provide better bang fro the buck.
