This is an outstanding recording on several fronts. The center channel for JT is focused in a way that seems very different. The stage is set out in a wide format, and if you have seen JT live, the width of the stage is one of the strongest points of the band. The ability to pull the small notes nice and tight, even from a distance is a sure sign of a centralized group. And Louis Conte is just Louis. Very highly recommended for small listening, if you have a chance. |

Morning of the job, I got called away, job cancelled, and flew to Cincinnati, without meeting the dude. 2 weeks later, the same customer is ready for me(made sure I got that service call), so I be cruisin' the airort in Toronto. This awesome chick (India, I think) hauls me in to buy a Crown Royal. $30 for a litre, which is great by me. Then she says that 2 of the litre boxes(each with the purple bag) is only 50$ and comes with a Crown Royal Backpack. So I do that. Well, I show up at Stryvn's place with mucho rye, and a backpack that we laughed and joked about with Mrs. Stryvn over a wonderful steak dinner. Thats where that came from. The dude can chef!. Aw hell, I missed 'mother'. repeat. |
