I recently bought a pair of B&W DM601 speakers. I knew ahead of time that the woofer on one of the speakers did not work, but I was planning to use the working speaker as a rear speaker in 6.1 sound. After listening to the working speaker, however, I love the sound and would love to get the pair working.
The woofer has no external damage to the cone. I opened up the speaker, and I could find no wires that were burnt or otherwise damaged. The cross-over also looks to be in working condition. Is there anyway to trouble shoot what the problem is by looking at the crossover and woofer? People's thoughts would be very welcome.

if u have an old or spare speaker, try to connect it to the woofer terminal from the cross-over or use the other woofer of your 601.
