I have recently bought the above amp and Cd player. Must admit I'm impressed with the sound. Clarity excellent. Only thing I might like improved is the bass. Anyone feel the same?
Anyway I wanted to know if anyone had any advice on what speakers I might try to match this equipment.
Yes, I found the bass extension lacking a tad. The bass tone control didn't seem to do much either. Lovely amp, bassheads will need a sub though I feel. As for speaker matching, it's a VERY warm amp so maybe something a tad detailed and perhaps bright will prove best in the long run. I'm thinking about adding the B&W ASW650 sub to my system. I heard it for the first time recently and it was so musical - for a budget sub. Maybe you should look to something similar to fill out your sound.
