Receiver shutting down, WHY?

gjt Unregistered guest	Posted on Wednesday, May 19, 2004 - 03:07 GMT I have a new Pioneer VSX-D914 receiver pushing two JBL E90's. When I turn the volume to about -10 db, the receiver shuts down after about 2-3 minutes. Why could this be happening?

gjt Unregistered guest	Posted on Wednesday, May 19, 2004 - 23:19 GMT These JBLs are 8 ohms. The receiver is set for both 8 & 6 ohm speakers, supposedly.
