Are BIC subwoofers any good? there biggest one runs for about $250. It sounds to good to be true. If anyone could give me any advise on wether to buy it would be very helpful.

Has anyone heard of Bic Venturi 6 speakers? I purchaced them about 30 years ago at Pacific Stereo. They are broken and I was concidering repairing them. From what I remember they sounded really good years ago but by todays standards are these good speakers? Thanks Bill
