New member Username: DjnightsidePost Number: 1 Registered: Jun-07 | I recently bought a Technics direct drive automatic turntable system model Sl-D33. It's a direct drive unit that plays very well, but the tone arm will not move automatically into place. It also doesn't return to position after the album is finished. I don't have the manual, and I am assuming that word Automatic in the title at least in part refers to the movement of the arm. It also has a repeat and cue function that doesn't seem to do anything. I'm new to the turntable realm, so any suggestions on things I could try would be appreciated? |

Gold Member Username: NuckPost Number: 7710 Registered: Dec-04 | I havn't opened the manual, but isn't the lift function hydraulic? If the arm won't filt, none of the named functions would work. Is there a resevoir in there? That is as much a question as a suggestion. |
