Goldring 1.2 setup problem

I am a firsttimer on turntables and didnt get a manual from the shop (!!) so I dont have a clue how to set it up... for now I only get sound from one channel. What can I do to correct it. Other input on setting it up properly would be deeply appreciated I dont have a clue..
