Anonymous | Hey All, yes I have heard and own 2 systems from Fluance Speakers that I bought from http://www.fluance.com/ They sound excellent to say the least. I added 2 sets of the AV-BP2 for my 7.1 system. Wow was I shocked at how good they sound! I previously had a Bose system and they just can't match the sound I am getting now with the Fluance stuff. Does anybody have any ideas for what a good subwoofer would be to match my system??? |
timn8ter | Not much of an argument for quality saying they're better than Bose :-) If you want to do bass right, get yourself a SPL meter from Radio Shack and a test disk of tones and take measurements of your speakers. This way you'll know where your existing speakers drop off. This will help in your choice of sub. Once you have your sub you can run tones again checking for peaks and valleys in the frequencies. If they're significant, which they usually are, you can pick up a parametric equalizer and you'll have jaw dropping accurate bass. |
Anonymous | some of the posts suggest the sony SA WM40 is good, but hey I'm new too !!! |
